Today is the day! My new single is out and I'm so pleased to share this song. It's a bit different for me - I'm exploring the side of me that loves dance-pop music. I collaborated with Ryan C for this track and he sings it with such grit and depth - he really helped bring the song to life.
So yeah, while singer-songwriter style music will always be my favourite, I'm excited to delve into something a little more directly pop. I have such fond memories of dancing at Studio 41 in Canterbury and listening to artists that could straddle the line between heartbreak and dance-pop like Robyn, Lady GaGa, Ellie Goulding and more. Trying to make a song like this, from the comfort of my own home and on a laptop is something I didn't think possible a few years ago. It's so much fun to turn a dream into a reality.
