about

This is a song I wrote straight after finishing Deathly Hallows for the first time. So much happened in the final stages of the book but Snape's story really struck a chord with me. Like many other Harry Potter fans, I felt empty now that the series had come to end and so, in an attempt to fill the hole, I wrote this song. This song would not have been possible without JK Rowling's amazing ideas. Hope you enjoy!

lyrics

Don't Call Me A Coward
You don't know me
One day you'll find out
You will see
I loved your mother
She did not love me
She loved your father
I could not breathe easily

You have her green eyes
Reminding me daily
Of the the love I lost
A love that never found me
You look so much like
Your damn father
How could I not feel
Hatred toward you

She was the only one for me
Lily
